The most misread problem on an induction surface, because it looks like a zone dying and is usually a zone defending itself. The drive electronics under the glass shed a great deal of heat, and they rely on airflow through the cabinet beneath. Pack that space, add insulation during a renovation, or store a stack of trays against the underside, and the cooktop will run beautifully for five minutes at high power and then step back. What to do in the next ten minutes
Note which zone, at what power setting, and after how long — those three facts are most of the diagnosis. Open the cabinet or the drawer beneath the cooktop and see what is stored against the underside. Feel whether the cooling fan is running and continues after the zones are switched off. Try the same pan on a different zone to separate the pan from the appliance.
Protection is not failure
Induction surfaces are electronics working hard in a small space. When they get too hot they reduce power or stop, and they do it precisely so that they last. A cooktop doing that repeatedly is telling you something about the cabinet it was installed into, and replacing parts will not change the answer.
The one code this appliance does give
Unlike the refrigeration and the hood, the current induction cooktops do publish a small code table — C0, C1, C2, F0, F1, F2, A2, UP and d0. If one of those is showing, read it to us: it moves the diagnosis forward considerably. But note that F0, F1 and F2 mean different things on the older ovens and ranges of this same make.

Is it the pan?
Test it with a fridge magnet. If the magnet does not stick to the base, the cooktop cannot drive it and no repair will change that. If it does stick and the zone still cuts out, it is not the pan.
Will a bigger extractor help?
No — the cooktop cools through the cabinet below, not through the room above. What helps is clearing the space underneath and confirming the installation clearances.
