The water is not arriving in full
A supply valve part closed, a scaled inlet valve passing a trickle, or a partially frozen fill tube. Any of the three produces small or hollow cubes on both modules at once, which people read as two failed ice makers.

The mold heater, the ejector or the bin sensing. A module that fills and never releases is a different repair from one that never fills, and both are ordinary parts.

What to do in the next ten minutes
Check whether one module or both have stopped, and whether the cabinet itself is at temperature — ice production falls off long before a freezer feels warm. Look for a fill tube frozen at its tip. If there is a water filter in the path, note when it was last changed. Leave the bin in place and do not force the ejector by hand.
Why two ice makers are worth having
The narrow freezer column carries two modules in nine and a half cubic feet, which is a great deal of mechanism in a small cabinet. It also means the appliance carries its own control group: whatever is true of one module and not the other is local, and whatever is true of both is upstream. Very few appliances hand you that for free.
Scale is the South Florida answer
A valve fed hard water for years does not usually fail outright. It closes slowly and passes a trickle, and the machine goes on making ice — smaller, hollower and slower every month, in a decline gradual enough that nobody can say when it started. Measuring the fill is the only way to see it.
