The model number on the rating plate is the fastest route to a correct answer on this make. No models published yet. ## The rating plate, and what it settles Inside the refrigerator’s upper left wall, on the frame of a dishwasher door, behind the kick panel of a column, along the edge of an oven door. It carries the model and the serial, and between them they settle the era — which is the single most useful fact anybody can give us about a Dacor. ## DOP, DOB, DRF, DRR, DRZ, DRW, DDW, DTI, DTG, DTT, DHD Ranges and wall ovens take DOP and DOB; refrigeration runs DRF for French doors, DRR for refrigerator columns, DRZ for freezer columns and DRW for wine. Dishwashers are DDW, cooktops DTI for induction and DTG for gas, rangetops DTT, and hoods DHD. The legacy machines look nothing like any of it — ER30D, EDW, CM24P — which is itself a useful clue. ## What the number tells us Straight away - Which of the two eras the appliance belongs to. - Which code table applies, if the appliance has one at all. - Whether it is panel-ready, and therefore how the access will go. Before the van is loaded - Which part numbers are correct for that generation. - Whether a legacy part is still available at all. - Whether there are hinge or finish variants that change the part. ## By appliance instead If the plate is unreachable behind a fitted cabinet. ## Every model here came out of a sourced research pass Nothing on this list was inferred from a naming pattern, and nothing that could only be found on a retailer’s page is presented as though a manufacturer confirmed it. Where a model exists but a specification could not be double-checked, the specification is simply not claimed — which is why a few of these pages say less than the retailers do. ## The questions this page is asked My model is not listed. — The list is the models that could be verified against a source, not every SKU this make has ever built. Tell us the number and we will place it: the prefix and the format alone usually settle the appliance type and the era, which is most of what we need. How do I know which era mine is? — The model number settles it. As a rough guide, a number like DOP48M96DL or DRR36980LAP is the current Samsung-platform generation; ER30D, EDW, IDW, DR30DNG or CM24P are from before the 2016 acquisition. If you cannot reach the plate, the year the kitchen was fitted is usually enough to start. Are parts available for the older models? — For many of them, yes — sensors, igniters, relays, hinges and latches are ordinary parts. Control boards are the difficult end, and the coffee system is a discontinued platform entirely. We check availability before booking labor rather than after, because nobody should pay for a visit that ends in a shrug. ## Why the era is on every model page ### It decides three things at once The code table, the control board and the part number. An appliance from 2014 and one from 2019 can share a cabinet shape and share nothing else, and a supplier handed the wrong generation will sell the wrong board perfectly happily. ### Where the codes come from Each model page carries the table that genuinely belongs to it, read out of this site’s own code file rather than retyped — so a page that is renamed cannot leave a model pointing at nothing. Where no table exists, the page says which of the reasons applies. ### What is deliberately absent No laundry, because this make builds none. No standalone ice machine. No code table for the Heritage collection, whose control generation could not be dated from the sources — a plausible guess published as a fact is the one thing this site will not do. ## Not sure which of these it is?
